Youth and the future

Youth is of fundamental importance to any country, to any organization. No youth to have great experiences, but youth is the group that renews, questioning; is the youth that captures the changes more easily. These changes that are happening in the culture, society. Any country that does not invest in youth has no future. And the big problem that I see, in Brazil, in Latin America, for example, is that not investing in the education of youth. There is no future for the Church, if not also invest in youth. So, to respond to new times, new times, youth is the future. I see today a very youth suffered more than at any other time. The families are becoming increasingly complicated. I see the outskirts of large cities youth with many emotional scars, one youth very controlled by the media. The whole issue of consumer society, a different than other times of youth. For example, in the 60s we had a revolutionary youth, one youth wanting to build a new society, fighting for justice for the oppressed. In the 80s, the same thing: one youth with a social conscience. Nowadays you have a youth more focused on their personal problems. In part because of social change, cultural. But at the same time, youth has a feature which distinguishes it from adults, for example, youth changes very easily. So, with a good methodology you can penetrate the shell of individualism that is so strong today, and awaken the flame of idealism that is within all young.
